Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Baltimore, MD

Job Summary:
- Employer: Soliant

- Employment Type: Full Time Contract

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Speech-Language Pathologists to execute treatment plans aimed at achieving speech, language, and communication objectives.
- Participate in assessments and evaluations to gather pertinent information on students' speech and language capabilities.
- Deliver individual or group therapy sessions to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Track and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Utilize diverse therapeutic methods and exercises to enhance speech production, articulation, language comprehension, and expressive language skills.
- Aid in the development of social communication skills among students.
- Educate students and their families on strategies and techniques to improve communication beyond therapy sessions.

Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Possess current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) from an accredited certifying organization.
- Previous experience working with individuals with communication disorders is preferred.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication.
