Position Details:
- Location: Philadelphia, PA
- Position: Special Education Teacher
- Employment Type: Full-time, contract
- Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each student.
- Adapt and differentiate curriculum to meet students individual needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and specialists to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Regularly assess and document student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture where students feel supported and encouraged.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education.
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience with various learning needs and instructional strategies is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
