Physical Therapist - Southern Pines, NC

Soliant is collaborating with a Special Education provider in Northbrook, IL, to find a contract Physical Therapist for the upcoming school year. This position will serve member school districts in Southern Pines, NC, focusing on children with developmental delays, disabilities, or medical conditions that require specialized educational support.

Requirements:

  • North Carolina Physical Therapist license
  • Preferred experience with pediatrics or school-based Physical Therapy

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review students medical history and referrals from doctors or educators
  • Assess students motor functions through observation and interaction
  • Develop individualized plans of care tailored to students conditions and developmental levels
  • Implement therapeutic interventions including exercises, stretching, hands-on therapy, and equipment use
  • Evaluate and document students progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate students and families on therapy expectations and coping strategies
