Occupational Therapist

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Alhambra, CA for the first semester of 2024. This position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours, allowing you to balance your professional and personal commitments. As an OT contracted through Soliant Education, you will have the opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic educational environment, helping students achieve their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and eligibility for occupational therapy services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to integrate therapeutic activities into the classroom setting.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, focusing on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and objectives.
• Educate and support staff and parents in strategies to support students' occupational therapy needs.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current California state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
