CHRISTUSTrinity Clinic in Tyler, TX is seeking a dynamic andteam-oriented OB/GYN Physician to join our established team.The ideal candidate will be a hard worker who values the patientexperience, effective communication, and quality of life. Ourcurrent team consists of:

ClinicBased

  • 9 board certifiedPhysicians (all have been with System for between 7-25years)
  • 4 Advanced PracticeClinicians
  • 3 Clinic basedSonographers
  • Experienced nursingstaff dedicated administrative staff to support Physicians incaring for patients.
  • In Clinic Lab andantenatal testing are available.

Hospital Based

  • Maternal Fetal Medicine and Gynecology OncologyPhysicians available in-house.
  • OB/GYNHospitalist Physician 24/7 (allows our Physicians to remain focusedon the Clinic should a patient’s Clinical condition require anacute assessment)

Call: 

  • Physicians have a rotating call schedule thatconsists of a 24-hour shift once every 1-2 weeks (with checkout occurring at 5 PM from in-office partners) then one weekendevery 4-6 weeks beginning at noon on Friday and ending at 7 AM onMonday morning

EHR: Epic with OB monitoring throughCentricity and Haiku for mobile access

  • 6 da Vinci Xi Roboticrooms. Busiest robotics program in the region -- 203 robotics casesin Jun 2023

  • Surgical blocktime is allotted based on the Surgeon's demonstratedneed
  • Strong commitment to safe/quick ORturnover, metrics documented in monthly newsletter – averageturnover time currently 33 minutes
  • Anesthesia(Anesthesiologist / CRNA team) highly committed to patientsafety/experience and Surgeon efficiency

L&D:

  • 14 updated labor rooms, 5 OBED triage rooms,and 3 ORs. (can run 2 rooms concurrently)
  • OBEDsees pregnant patients 20 weeks and above, staffed by 24/7 OBHospitalist Physicians
  • 24/7 Anesthesiacoverage
  • CertifiedRNs
  • Postpartum unit:
  • 27private rooms, with treatment rooms for exams andcircumcisions
  • 2 bays on the unit that can beused for overflow from L&D
  • CertifiedRNs


Antepartumunit:

  • 7 rooms with adedicated US suite


NICU:

  • 28private beds for high-risk babies – Neonatologists in-house,step-down high-risk unit offers Murphy beds in rooms for familyconvenience.
  • Annex available that can care for9 additional babies, typically babies preparing for discharge tohome
  • Pediatric surgeryprogram

Qualifications:

  • BC/BE in OB/GYN
  • Mustpossess an unrestricted Texas Medical License or be eligible to belicensed in the state of Texas
