Ambulatory surgery
12 hour days
2+ years experience required
PALs, ACLS, BLS required
MUST be trained in Endo
Will need to take call
22 beds on unit
Surgical day care patients. Assessing pre-op patients, readying them for surgery. Phase 2- post-op care.
Endoscopy includes MAC sedation patients having same day procedure patients.
Common patient diagnosis: Routine colonoscopies, joint replacements, kidney stones ,cholecystitis, failing fistula, kidney failure
