Soliant Health, a prominent healthcare staffing company, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an upcoming full-time position in a school district near Shelbyville, KY. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team and positively impact the lives of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students based on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans to address students' individual goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective communication strategies and interventions
  • Monitor students' progress and make adjustments to therapy plans as necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
  • Kentucky state license or eligibility for Kentucky licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Familiarity with IEPs and experience in collaborating with IEP teams is highly desired
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is advantageous, although new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Strong knowledge of various speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and evidence-based intervention techniques
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
