Position Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Oxon Hill, MD. This full-time position involves working with clients of various ages to help them develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate Clients: Conduct assessments to determine clients needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement Therapy: Provide direct therapy services to clients, either as an OT or under the supervision of an OT as a COTA.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client progress, treatment plans, and necessary paperwork to comply with regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including other healthcare professionals, educators, and families, to support client goals.
  • Education: Educate clients and their families on therapeutic strategies and techniques to foster independence and improve daily living skills.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • OT: Masters or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
    • COTA: Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure:
    • OT: Current Maryland Occupational Therapy license.
    • COTA: Current Maryland COTA license.
  • Experience: Experience in a clinical or school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing high-quality care to clients.
