Computer Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Computer Teacher to join our school district for the upcoming academic year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science education and a passion for teaching students in grades K-12. This is a full-time contract position with responsibilities including developing and implementing a comprehensive computer curriculum, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, and collaborating with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and school curriculum.
• Teach students foundational computer skills, programming, and digital literacy.
• Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Integrate technology into daily lessons to enhance learning experiences.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to create a cohesive educational program.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
• State teaching certification in Computer Science or related endorsement.
• Proven experience teaching computer science or technology courses to K-12 students.
• Strong knowledge of computer programming languages, software, and hardware.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
