Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:

This is an 11-month position beginning in August 2024.

This position will be responsible for teaching a section of AGR 322-Introductory Veterinary Laboratory I with two lab sections (4 hours) and 3 laboratory sections of AGR 540 Veterinary Surgery and Anesthesia. In addition, this position will require academic student advising as well as club co-advising.

Minimum Education Requirements:

A Bachelor’s of Science degree in Veterinary Technology or related field is required.

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:

Kentucky Licensure as a Veterinary Technologist and a minimum one-year of veterinary clinical experience is required for this position.

Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

A minimum of two semesters of teaching experience as well as a Master’s degree in an Agriculture related field is preferred.
