About the Role: Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and licensed Education Specialist for a full-time, on-site position in Bancroft, CA. This role is essential for supporting students with diverse learning needs and providing tailored instruction to help them succeed in their educational journey for the 2024-2025 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Provide specialized instruction and support to students with various learning disabilities and challenges
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to facilitate the inclusion of students in mainstream classrooms
  • Assess and track student progress, making adjustments to instructional strategies as needed
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress and needs
  • Create and maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching license in California
  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field; Masters degree preferred
  • Prior experience working with students with special needs is highly desirable
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to address the diverse needs of students
