THE WORK

As the Production Operations Director at our West Palm Beach location, you'll lead a team of approximately 400 employees, both hourly represented and salaried, in the assembly and delivery of production aircraft. Your role is critical in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently, meeting customer requirements and aligning with Sikorsky's financial goals. You'll oversee daily operations, ensuring the successful execution of aircraft assembly, delivery schedules, and development flight test operations. Additionally, you'll develop and implement innovative strategies that drive world-class quality, safety, and financial performance across the organization.

Basic Qualifications:
15+ years manufacturing experience

10+ years of leadership experience

Ability to communicate vision and inspire people at every level to deliver and execute the safety, quality, employee relations, 1LMX and our manufacturing strategy
Proven effective interpersonal, communication and customer interaction skills, to include working with the program leadership and other functions on the development and implementation of manufacturing strategies

Previous aerospace or defense experience with rotary knowledge
Desired Skills:
Thorough knowledge/experience with aerospace programs with an ability to implement best practices from across the Operations functions at LM

Experience engaging employees with continuous improvement through formal engagement teams like OETs or PMTs

Experience with operating in a represented labor environment

Knowledge of the RMS organization including Sikorsky Programs
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
