Design and create custom signs using a variety of materials and techniques, fabricate signs using tools and equipment in workshop. Install signs at customer locations with attention to detail and precision. Mange multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.Responsibilities The job duties include, but are not limited to:Under limited supervision, develops layouts, fabricates, installs, or repairs interior and exterior signage and other identification or directional messaging devices. Assignments are performed in accordance with AU signage standards and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines.Perform all other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School diploma or GED from a recognized State or Federal accredited organization with four years experience. Valid driver's license.Other Required QualificationsModerate level of knowledge in sign making, carpentry, and general construction skills.Preferred Qualifications Other Preferred QualificationsA degree from an accredited college or university in graphic design, fine arts, or design and visual communication.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities ABILITIESAbility to interpret ADA guidelines relating to signage and ability to interact and communicate wellwith others. KNOWLEDGEKnowledge of graphic design, sign making trade and building construction.
