Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Porterville, CA. In this full-time role, you will work in a school setting, providing essential services to students with speech and language disorders. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping students enhance their communication skills and succeed academically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess & Diagnose: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement tailored therapy plans based on students' unique needs.
  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy sessions in individual and group settings, focusing on improving speech, language, and social communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Partner with educators, families, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment for students.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student progress and ensure compliance with school and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensing: Valid California SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
