CME Coordinator Medical Education/Part-Time

POSITIONSUMMARY: Coordinates Continuing Medical Education(CME) activities through the Mayo Clinic Care Network, and allrecord-keeping files for the accredited CME program. TheCoordinator serves as a resource for CME activities for physicians,leaders, and as appropriate, for Associates. The CME Coordinator isresponsible for coordinating a CME program which meets allaccreditation guidelines and policies, while providing strongsupport to ongoing inter-professional educational initiatives.
Requirements
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Associate’sor Bachelor’s degree, and recent, relevant work experience, in Nursing, Education, Health Care Administration, CommunityHealth, Public Health, Business Administration, Human Resources,Program Management, or Organizational Development.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Noneare specifically required, however, must possess the willingness tolearn the highly detailed requirements of an accredited(Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education) ACCMEprogram, the specific rules and requirements of the New MexicoMedical Society, while meeting the mission and vision of ourorganization.

EXPERIENCE: The successfulcandidate will have at least one year of experience in continuingmedical education, physician relations, physician quality, orsenior administrative duties, with the ability to arrange/completeschedules, meetings, IT/AV equipment set-up, and effectivedocumentation of program requirements, including the programdatabase, program and activity reporting system (PARS). The idealcandidate must be able to focus on attention to detail, whiledeveloping positive relationships with colleagues, and ongoingprogram development.
