Job Description:

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the beautiful city of Post Falls, Idaho, for the 2024/2025 school year. As an SLP, you will play a critical role in supporting the communication and language development of students within our district. You will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to provide high-quality speech and language services that enhance student learning and achievement.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Monitor and document students' progress towards IEP goals and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs in the classroom.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on students' speech and language development.
  • Educate and train teachers and parents on strategies to support speech and language development at home and in the classroom.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Stay current with best practices and emerging research in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Idaho state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population and adapt therapy techniques to meet individual needs.
