 Job Description:GERBERCOLLISION & GLASS – CARROLTON SHOP, NEW ORLEANS,LAPayranges from $75,000 to $100,000  +depending on experience andlocation

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE COMPLETING THEFOLLOWING:

• DIAGNOSTICREPAIRS
• BALANCING ANDALEIGGNMENT
• AIRBAG CHECKS ANDREPLACEMENT

TheMechanicperforms general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment andfacilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heatingand cooling, and other buildingsystems.

KeyJob Responsibilities

• Ensureconsistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way)plan.

• Inspectsand identifies equipment or machines in need ofrepair.

• Troubleshootsissues to determine necessaryrepairs.

• Plansrepair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual asneeded.

• Performsgeneral repairs that do not require a specialized technician.

• Performsroutine maintenance on buildingsystems.  

• Cleansand assists with upkeep of thefacilities.

• Orderssupplies and materials needed for repairs andmaintenance.

• Performsother related duties asassigned.

Educationand/or Experience Required

• Highschool diploma or equivalentrequired.

• ASEAmerican Service Excellence certification and prior training orcould be a newgraduate. 

• Relatedexperiencepreferred.

• On-the-jobtrainingoffered.

RequiredSkills/Abilities

• Abilityto follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenanceworkers.

• Knowledgeof general carpentry andrepair.

• Abilityto use hand tools and powertools. 

• Excellentorganizational and time managementskills.

OtherRequirements

• Prolongedperiods standing andwalking.

• Mustbe physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkwardspaces.

• Mustbe able to lift up to 50 pounds at atime.
