Danielson, CT: School Speech-Language Pathologist

Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists based in Danielson, CT with a passion for working with K-8 student Soliant is seeking a contract SLP for the remainder of the school year.
The applicant will be covering a caseload of about 50 K-8students. Additional information about the District and the caseload will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communications Disorders
- Connecticut SLP license
Additional information about the team, and the building assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.
As a education setting SLP, you will:
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Determine eligibility for speech services, and work with an interdisciplinary team to determine appropriate goals
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for childrenwith identified speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans (for childrenwith special education needs)and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all childrenon the caseload.
- Provide reports of children'sprogress to parents.
- Organizecaseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school or classroom
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
