Contract School Psychologist, Lansing, MI

Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.

Calling on Michigan licensed School Psychologists based in the area of Lansing, MI, and seeking an opportunity to work with smaller school communities Soliant is working with a two schools in Clinton County, and is seeking a contract School Psychologist for the remainder of the school year.

The applicant will work with about 50 students, ranging from K-12 ages.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Education Specialist degree in School Psychology
  • Michigan Department of Education license for School Psychologists


Duties include:

  • Providing direct or indirect services including: 
    • Observations
    • Data collection
    • Review of student records collecting data
    • Conferences with teachers and parents
    • Student interviews
    • Functional Behavioral Assessments
    • Counseling (individual and group)
    • Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Executing psychological assessments, interpreting data, and writing reports in accordance with District, State and Federal guidelines
  • Attending IEP, team, school, and district-level meetings
  • Making referrals to resources to facilitate educational and behavioral interventions recommended for student success.
  • Participating in mediations, administrative reviews, hearings and due process proceedings, as needed.
  • Participating in disciplinary proceedings: expulsions, manifestations, and causation meetings
