As a software sustainment engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll have an operational impact from day one. With a team of professionals, you’ll maintain applications and keep systems working. You and your team will use programming and scripting languages as you continuously enhance and maintain the applications, troubleshoot any issues that arise operationally, and upgrade the systems to meet security requirements.

You Have:

  • Experience with telemetry design, including schematic drawings and PCB layout

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Associate’s degree and 10+ years of experience as a software developer using C, C++, C#, Python, MATLAB, Java and HDML, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering and 5+ years of experience as a software developer using C, C++, C#, Python, MATLAB, Java and HDML

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with .NET, JavaScript, React, Angular, NodeJS, PHP, Bash, Visual Basic, Groovy, or Lua

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Products, Microsoft Windows Server, or Microsoft SQL Server

  • Knowledge of shell scripting and automation

  • Knowledge of DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous deployment

  • Knowledge of relational and hierarchal data structures or functional programming

  • Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
