Are you a compassionate and skilled registered nurse passionate about student well-being?

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated School Nurse to join our team in the Auburn Hills, MI area This full-time, on-site position for the 2024-2025 school year offers the rewarding opportunity to provide vital healthcare services to students across Kindergarten through 12th grade (K-12).

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver comprehensive healthcare services to students, including administering first aid, managing chronic conditions, and providing medication as prescribed.
  • Conduct health screenings and immunizations according to school and district protocols.
  • Develop and implement a plan to manage student health emergencies in accordance with school policies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure students receive the support they need to stay healthy and succeed in school.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student health records.
  • Promote healthy habits and educate students on disease prevention and wellness.
  • Contribute to a positive and safe learning environment for all students.

Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Prior experience working in a school nursing setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment, and medication administration.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to student confidentiality and privacy.
  • Passion for promoting student health and well-being.
