Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (On-site Only)
Location: Oak Lawn, IL
Job Description:
Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the communication and language development of students in grades K through 6th within our community.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students both individually and in small group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other collaborative efforts to support student achievement.
- Stay informed about best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree from an ASHA accredited university in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active state-level licensure and/or certification in Speech-Language Pathology, or ability to obtain licensure in Illinois.
- Experience working in schools or with children is preferred but not required.
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology required.
