Description:

Responsibilities:

  •  
  • Safely operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage.
  • Work closely with production to ensure product is taken to and from production in a timely manner
  • Counts, weighs or measures incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information
  • Participates in routing, counting and inspecting items
  • Documents all information
  • Keep assigned work area clean and organized
  • Responsible for all product and material within assigned work area - this includes, but not limited to, inventory levels, product location, warehousing and proper product rotation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Skilled in operating a forklift or other material handling equipment
  • Knowledge of Safety practices
  • Excellent Attendance Record
  • Knowledge of record keeping practices and inventory practices
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull (up to and including 50 pounds or more) 
  • Must be able to reach overhead (up to and including 25 pounds)
  • Willingness to become Forklift Certified

Education and Experience:

  • Prior Forklift experience preferred
  • Ability to read,write and speak English preferred
