Arlington, United States Booz Allen Hamilton Full time

The Opportunity:

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) tackles some of the world's toughest national security challenges. As a Program Management Specialist in our fast-paced Strategic Technology Office (STO), you'll play a critical role in supporting these groundbreaking programs, ensuring they stay on track and deliver impactful results.

How You'll Contribute:

  • Manage the creation, revision, routing, and tracking of all program documentation, including program approval documents (PADs), Memorandums of Understanding/Agreement (MOUs/MOAs), Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs), program solicitations, justification & approval documents (J&As), and program completion reports (PCRs).

  • Coordinate seamlessly with DARPA leadership, program managers (PMs), Front Office staff, DARPA support offices, and external stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle.

  • Become a subject matter expert on Department of Defense (DoD), DARPA, and STO instructions, guides, policies, and templates.

  • Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect evolving processes.

  • Maintain up-to-date templates for required program documentation on both unclassified and classified systems.

  • Collect data, track, and analyze timeline metrics to identify areas for increased efficiency and process improvement.

You will be called upon to solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity by applying basic principles, theories, and concepts, possessing limited working and general industry knowledge. You will develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, referring more complex issues to higher levels. You will prepare and send routine correspondence and respond in a timely and professional manner via email, mail, and telephone. You’ll coordinate with teammates to provide quick-turn responses to client data calls and provide additional administrative duties as required. You’ll grow your programmatic expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each program's success. From working with your team to creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you’ll help deliver meaningful programmatic support.

At Booz Allen, we recognize that we must continuously grow as a team to bring the best support to our clients, so here you’ll have all the resources to succeed. Work with us and help us as we improve the programmatic process, enabling our mission-critical customers at DARPA to develop technologies that give national security leaders trusted, disruptive capabilities to win in all physical domains, including air, space, sea, and land, and across the spectrum of competition, from deterrence to high-end peer combat.
