Job Description:

Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to students within our diverse school district.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to address each student's specific communication needs.
  3. Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  4. Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development.
  5. Monitor students' progress and modify intervention strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, progress reports, and billing records in compliance with state regulations.
  7. Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student success.
  8. Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  1. Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  2. Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Florida.
  3. Certification from the Florida Department of Health as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility for certification).
  4. Certification from the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in schools (or eligibility for certification).
  5. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain.
  6. Preferred experience working with students in educational settings.
  7. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
