Position Type: Hybrid, with one day per week required in Brentwood.

  • Acquisition: The company recently acquired Cubix, which has a legacy product built on Salesforce.
  • Development Constraints: Writing code is challenging due to the legacy system. We need someone flexible, understands the limitations, and has realistic expectations about deliverables.

Projects:

  • Technologies: Modern stack primarily uses JavaScript.
  • Focus: Prioritize finding the right person with strong problem-solving abilities over specific technical skills.
  • Responsibilities: The candidate will work on both the legacy product (in Java) and the modern product (in JavaScript). Flexibility, the ability to pivot and multitask as needs change, and a willingness to learn and contribute are essential. Initially, they will be placed on one platform until they become familiar with it.
  • Fit: We’re looking for someone who is flexible, smart, driven, has great people skills, and works well with a team.

Technical Requirements:

  • Primary Tools for Legacy Stack: PostgreSQL, Java
  • Preferred Experience: Candidates with experience in any language (e.g., Ruby on Rails, C#) are valued. AWS experience is important for both platforms, which use smaller containerized services.

Position Details:

  • Duration: Long-term/full-time resource preferred; open to contract-to-hire (CTH) depending on the candidate.
  • Experience Levels:
    • Staff Level: 10+ years, experience in startups, FANG experience
