Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Full Time, Entry Level/Hourly, Systems Engineering Aide in Huntsville, AL.
As an Engineering Aide / Project Aide, you will be a key technical member supporting the design, development, test, and manufacturer of spacecrafts, missiles, and ground support hardware.
The following are examples of duties that may be included:
•Reviewing technical documents to identify and resolve discrepancies, perform requirements analysis, coordinate technical exchange meetings, develop presentation material, and handle peer reviews.
•Generating engineering documentation, reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, and schedules.
• Performing as a Data Transfer Agent (DTA)
• Facilitate Meetings / CVTC coordination
• Manage Technical Impact Assessments / Peer Reviews and ensure team members are aware of design changes that could affect them.
• Support the team’s Project Engineer (Action item tracking, schedule (IMS) support, Customer requests tracking, proposal coordination)

Basic Qualifications:
• Associates degree in related discipline or equivalent experience, and/or technical training
• Eligibility and willingness to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance - US Citizenship required

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to adjust to a variety of audiences.
• Good presentation skills; must be able to present clearly and concisely on a weekly basis to management and customers.

• Basic understanding of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) principles as well as the ability to interpret, generate, and present technical material and problem solve.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
