Job Description: We are seeking a skilled CT or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) for a 13-week contract in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in PET CT and hold relevant certifications. The position involves performing imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT and/or nuclear medicine procedures following established protocols.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as needed.
Operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality imaging and diagnostic accuracy.
Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
Document patient information and procedure results accurately.
Monitor patient condition continually and respond to changes in status as appropriate.
Job Requirements:
CT certification with experience in PET CT.
Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Nuclear Medicine (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
New York State License.
