Empower Young Voices: Speech-Language Pathologist (Elementary) - Soliant Education (Turlock, CA Area)

Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) dedicated to helping young children develop strong communication skills?

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated SLP to join our team in the Turlock, CA area This full-time, on-site position for the 2024-2025 school year offers the rewarding opportunity to provide vital services to elementary school students with speech and language impairments.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct individual and group speech-language evaluations to identify communication needs specific to elementary school students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's speech and language goals.
  • Utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches to address a range of communication disorders commonly seen in elementary school children, such as articulation difficulties, language delays, fluency issues, and social communication challenges.
  • Collaborate with general and special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to supporting students' communication development in all settings.
  • Monitor student progress, analyze data, and report on the effectiveness of interventions to inform ongoing therapy plans.
  • Create a positive and nurturing learning environment that fosters communication skills, confidence, and social interaction in young learners.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in speech-language pathology for the elementary school population.

Qualifications:

  • California State License in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
  • Prior experience working with elementary school students in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills in speech and language assessment, intervention, and program development tailored for elementary learners.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Understanding of child development as it relates to communication skills in elementary school students.
  • Passion for helping young children overcome speech and language challenges and reach their full potential.
