Murdock St. Suite 600 Floor: 6th Building: Medical Art General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds N/A Outpatient Clinic, FT Staff do float between inpatient units and our outpatient clinic Number of Staff 9 Employees on Pediatric Therapy Team Type of staff: PT 5 FT and 3 PRN OT 2 FT and 1 PRN SLP 3 FT and 3 PRN Patient Ratios: 7-8 patients per day in outpatient Type of equipment: Typical outpatient pediatric equipment including mat tables, lite gait/treadmill, stairs, and a variety of gait trainers and a LOT of toys EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Outpatient Pediatric PT Experience Current KS PT License and BLS Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Inpatient pediatric/PICU experience NICU Experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Evaluations and treatments which are typically gait training, therapeutic activity, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-ed, and occasionally manual therapy Caseload is primarily developmental delays and medically complex children with a smaller ratio of orthopedic, torticollis, and trauma Best personality Fit: Positive attitude with a collaborative approach to care A growth mindset with a willingness to learn and ask questions Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Follow hospital policies and guidelines for cleaning/safety Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc. *Remember it is a very competitive market any information you can provide will help attract talent. We have a highly skilled and experienced team. Our team boasts therapists who are board certified in pediatrics by APTA and in NICU care by NANT. Our unique blend of inpatient, outpatient, and NICU offers a wide variety of diagnoses and clinical experiences.
