Engineered for personal and professional development, our summer program runs for ten weeks from early June through mid-August.A Product Management Intern at Medline will work closely with the Product Division team members and will be exposed to all areas of the business, including product development, marketing, global sourcing, sales, negotiation, quality assurance, operations, and financial strategies.Job DescriptionThe challenging responsibilities of the position include:Development and launch of new product lines and/or product improvementsAssisting in the development and execution of sales and marketing strategiesCollaborating with marketing to develop promotional pieces and design packagingResearching the market and performing analyses to determine new opportunities to grow the businessCrafting and delivering presentations to our sales force and customersNegotiating with vendors to ensure business goals are met while maintaining strong business relationshipsWorking with Inventory Management to ensure proper stock levels and service level goals are met Qualifications:Junior standing with 3.0 minimum GPA preferredPrevious internship experience in product management/development, marketing, and/or business preferredActive interest in the Healthcare industry preferredExcellent organizational, planning, communication and follow-up skills requiredExcellent presentation skills for large and small groupsMust have strategic, analytical and problem-solving skillsMust have a bias toward action and be results orientedProficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookUnrestricted permanent US work authorizationMedline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.The anticipated salary range for this position:$23.25 - $32.50 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
