**School Year:** 2024-2025
**Position Overview:**
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Okeechobee, FL. This full-time position will involve working with K-12 students to support their speech and language development needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students achieve their communication goals and thrive in a collaborative educational environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Assist in the assessment and documentation of student progress.
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and resources to support student communication skills.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
**Qualifications:**
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
- Current SLPA license in Florida.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
