Are you a teacher who enjoys working with younger students, and want to support equitable access to education? Soliant is seeking certified Early Childhood Special Education teachers for a full-time opening this school year.
Requirements:
- Early Childhood Special Education license, issued by the Colorado Department of Education
- Prior experience with Early Childhood or Special Education classrooms strongly preferred
The applicant will be working with preschool students, in a classroom of 8 to 12 students.
Pay and Benefits:
- $45 to $50/hr, W2
- Health, vision and dental insurance

Responsibilities include:
- Working to understand student, based on parental feedback, staff consultations, and prior records
- Administering diagnostic tests
- Consolidating testing information, observations, and determining student's strengths, weaknesses, and potential
- Developing short-term and long-term goals, as part of an Individual Education Plan
- Presenting students' present levels, and their IEP goals, to staff and parents
- Developing classroom activities, implementing lesson plans, and presenting periodic progress reports
- Collaborating with classroom aides to foster a safe learning environment
- Maintaining record of student activities
- Consulting with parents, and making adjustments to classroom activities as needed
