Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Cleveland, OH. The SLP will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's specific needs.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to improve students' communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities and home support.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to establish, review, and update student goals and track progress.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
  • Offer training and resources to teachers and parents on strategies to support students' speech and language development.
  • Stay current with best practices, research, and continuing education in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid SLP license or certification in Ohio.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Experience in a school setting is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
