Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our team in Round Lake Heights, IL for the academic year starting August 21, 2024, through May 30, 2025. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the development and independence of students in Pre-K through 4th grade. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic educational setting with a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' needs and goals.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and adaptive equipment as needed to promote student participation and independence.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' overall development.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.

Requirements:

  • Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois.
  • Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Additional Information:

  • Start Date: August 21, 2024
  • End Date: May 30, 2025 (academic year)
  • Grade Levels: Pre-K through 4th grade students
  • Full-Time Position: Monday to Friday, typical school hours
