Commis Chef - Saudi Arabia
A Commis Chef should have enough exposure into American/Italian cuisine and should be well versed with Steaks, Grills, Burgers, Pastas, Pizzas, Salads, and Desserts etc. Should be an expert in the grill, must have enough exposure in range cooking and should be familiar using char broilers, ovens and fryers.
- Work under the directions of the Kitchen Manager
- Take individual responsibility of the station assigned.
- Responsible for the quality of food made in the station
- Responsible for quality and quantity controls and maintenance of set standards.
- Monitor dish washing area and ensure smooth operations of the same.
- Mise en place and prep
- Work in one or more of these stations (Store, grill, fryer, range, oven, salad, sandwich, dessert and coffee.
- Perform other opening, closing and hand over duties
- Pick up store
- Pre preparation and mise en place
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness
