This full-time, year-round position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' development while working on an hourly rate contract basis.

Position Overview:

As an Occupational Therapist contracted through Soliant Education, you will work directly with students to support their physical, sensory, and cognitive development. You will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized therapy plans, working closely with school staff, and ensuring that each student reaches their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and Evaluate: Conduct assessments to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop Therapy Plans: Create and implement individualized therapy plans to address students specific needs and goals.
  • Provide Therapy: Deliver direct therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions.
  • Collaborate: Work with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' overall development and success.
  • Document Progress: Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Participate in Meetings: Attend IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Valid Occupational Therapist license in Ohio.
  • Certification: Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting or with children is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
  • Dedication: Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered therapy.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
