Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a rewarding opportunity to empower students of all ages by providing comprehensive speech and language services in a supportive K-12 school environment?

Soliant Education is seeking a qualified SLP to join our team in the dynamic Lowell, MA area This full-time, in-person position for the 2024-2025 school year offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on the lives of students by providing a wide range of speech and language interventions to promote communication success from Kindergarten through High School.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify a variety of communication needs across the K-12 student population, including articulation disorders, fluency disorders, language delays and disorders, voice disorders, and social communication challenges.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans in collaboration with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to address students' individualized communication goals.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address a variety of speech and language needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and incorporating assistive technology as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective communication strategies for supporting students in the classroom and school environment.
  • Consult with other professionals involved in student support services to ensure a cohesive approach to meeting students' needs.
  • Monitor student progress, analyze data, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in speech-language pathology for the K-12 age range.

Qualifications:

  • Massachusetts State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Prior experience working in a K-12 school setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, speech and language development, and evidence-based assessment and intervention practices.
  • Expertise in conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and other school staff.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and maintaining student confidentiality.
  • A passion for promoting communication success and advocating for students with diverse communication needs.
