CNC Programmer Full-Time Direct Hire St. Louis, MO Compensation DOE: Up to $95K Seeking a CNC Programmer to support and enhance precision aerospace manufacturing for our client, a leading provider of defense industry solutions. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented programmer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to continuous quality and productivity improvements. What You’ll Do as a CNC Programmer: As a CNC Programmer, you’ll develop and optimize programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis aerospace components using Unigraphics/NX and Vericut software. Your efforts will directly contribute to meeting stringent quality, cost, and delivery standards while supporting manufacturing ramp-up and operational excellence. CNC Programmer Duties Include: Programming aerospace components on 3, 4, and 5-axis machinery using Unigraphics/NX and Vericut Troubleshooting CNC programming issues on Fanuc, Mazak, and Okuma controllers Creating and understanding work instructions, check sheets, and process control plans Collaborating with Engineering and Quality teams to revise prints and report discrepancies Supporting Lean Manufacturing initiatives and complying with aerospace specifications Reading and interpreting aircraft specifications and 3-D models Maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced work environment What We’re Looking For in your CNC Programming Background: Minimum 3 years programming experience with 3, 4, and 5-axis aerospace components using Unigraphics/NX and Vericut Proven troubleshooting skills on Fanuc, Mazak, and Okuma CNC controllers Trade or technical school degree or equivalent experience Prior exposure to Lean Manufacturing and aerospace quality standards 3-D modeling experience Ability to comprehend aircraft specifications and technical documentation Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality and productivity Reliable attendance and punctuality Perks & Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid holidays and vacation 401(k) plan with company match Affirmative Action, Equal Access, and Equal Opportunity employer Qualified applicants must complete an application and pass a drug and background check for consideration.
