School-based Speech-Language Pathologist, Ewing Township, NJ

Soliant has partnered with a school district near Ewing Township, NJ and is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to help with an FMLA position.

Applicants will be working with a caseload of preschool to middle school students. The caseload is very manageable, with most of the students working on articulation. Additional information about the District, and the building assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • New Jersey Speech-Language Pathology License

As a school-based SLP, you will:

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
  • Provide reports of a students progress to parents.
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
