Job Description:
Are you a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) looking for a rewarding opportunity in Winters? We are seeking a Full-Time SLPA to join our team for the entire school year. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions
- Work with students individually or in small groups to improve communication skills
- Implement therapy plans and techniques developed by the Speech-Language Pathologist
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication with parents and caregivers
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support students' speech and language needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans
Qualifications:
- BachelorsDegree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or related field
- Valid CA SLPA Licensure
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with students with speech and language disorders
