Ability to teach effectively at the graduate and undergraduate levels, including core courses in international relations. Job Description: The Department of Political Science at the University of Florida invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in International Relations, to begin in August 2026. This is a broad search seeking scholars of exceptional promise in any area of IR.Expected Salary: The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, and the compensation includes a full benefits package.Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Political Science (or a closely related field) by time of appointment. Evidence of high-quality scholarship or strong potential for publication in leading peer-reviewed journals of political science and international relations. Preferred: We are especially interested in candidates whose work engages with International Organizations, International Institutions and International Relations theory, but scholars in all IR research areas are encouraged to apply.
