TX SLP Opportunity in Fairview, NC

Calling on experienced Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a flexible contract assignment, who live in Fairview, NC and the surrounding areas

Soliant has partnered with a large school district and is seeking a full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary and primary schools in Fairview, NC. Additional information about the District and the building assignments will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.

Requirements:

  • Active NC Speech-Language Pathology License
  • Experience in school-based speech-language pathology
  • No Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFs) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)

Details:

  • Dates: Maternity leave starts in November 2024 - (end date still being determined)
  • Hours: Full-time (37.5)
  • Caseload: Covers two schools with ages ranging from PreK-2nd grades; approximately 40-50 students

As a school-based SLP, you will:

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Participate in ARD (Admissions, Referral, and Dismissal) meetings to determine student eligibility
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
  • Provide reports of a students progress to parents.
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
