Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Colchester, CT, for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position offers 35 hours per week, providing an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse population and contribute to the educational development of our students through comprehensive speech therapy services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of students.
  • Providing direct therapy services to students across various age groups, ensuring compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and educational regulations.
  • Collaborating effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and achievement.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Active Connecticut state license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working in educational settings with school-aged children is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
