JOB TITLE: Machine Operator
PAY RATE: $21.50/hour
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (must be able to train on 1st shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
    • At least 3 years of Manufacturing experience with more involved equipment (familiarized with setups/loading and unloading material/light equipment troubleshooting)
    • Previous experience running their own equipment, preferably if running multiple machines at a time
    • Previous experience doing inspections of product following manufacturing instructions
    • These positions are be very mobile (must be on their feet and walking for most of the shift, no sitting), in a loud environment and will be hot in the summer
    • Must be able to work on their own once fully trained and run multiple machines
    • Must be able to lift 25 to 30 lb on their own
    • Dexterity is critical to thread up equipment and handle fine yarns
    • Able to use a caliper and tape measure

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • In this position you will be trained on how to load a machine with raw material. 
  • The machine moves in a circular motion, braiding the material into a coil.
  • Operators monitor several machines replacing spools as they are emptied and take product off the machine and placing it into boxes.
  • This is an active role where there is no sitting and requires the ability to anticipate when a machine will need to be tended to.
  • Quality checks on product are also performed.
