Job Overview:

The Maintenance Technician II will assume advanced tasksrelating to the production machines and will troubleshoot whennecessary. This position is responsible for analyzing equipment totroubleshoot problems and making any necessary repairs with minimaloversight from maintenance supervision. This individual isencouraged to develop daily goals/strategies and ensure allequipment is running effectively andefficiently.

Highlights of your role:
  • Perform regular inspections andrepairs on production equipment and assist in machine repairs aswell as train others in machinerepairs.
  • Work efficiently with work order system (EAM) to documentrepairs and PM maintenance throughout theplant.
  • Set up of new equipment; troubleshoot equipment—usingspecialty tools—and make decisions on most effective repair ofequipment.
  • Perform regular inspections and light repairs onproduction equipment, assist in machine repairs, and perform dailyhousekeeping in workareas.
  • Provide feedback to supervisors on maintenance status, aswell as email end of shift reportsdaily.
  • Perform basic machinist skills using a vertical mill anda lathe.
  • Interpret blueprints and part drawing to performmaintenance task.
  • Must have basic understanding of welding andfabrication.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workenvironment.
You're a good fitif you have (or if you can):
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual shouldhave knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software and theMicrosoft Software Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook,etc.)
  • Associate’sdegree in a related-technical field is strongly preferred
Also want to make sure youhave:
  • High School diploma/GEDrequired
  • Minimum of three years related experience and/or trainingrequired
  • Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial lift platformlicenses
