#### Job Description:

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for an Extended School Year (ESY) program near Brookfield, CT. This temporary position is ideal for educators committed to making a difference in the lives of students with special needs during the summer months.

#### Responsibilities:

- Provide specialized instruction tailored to the individual needs of students with disabilities.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Assess students progress and adjust instruction based on data and student needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student performance and progress.

#### Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Special Education Teaching Certification in the state of Connecticut.
- Experience working with students with diverse disabilities.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
