Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Chelmsford, MA.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Installation of connectors, substrates, components and modules in highly complex microwave assemblies, often utilizing using paste and sheet epoxies.
o Performs fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of mid-range to high complexity
o Perform surface mount, fine pitch and through hole soldering
o Able to work with miniaturized tools such as tweezers, fine screwdrivers and soldering irons
o Able to work with precision and follow standardized, existing procedures
o Able to attach wires to load cell tabs by following schematics or wiring diagrams
o Meet high criteria for quality and output on a regular basis

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
-Previous experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly
-Ability to work 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers and other similar tools; Good dexterity, eye/hand coordination
-Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings; Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities
-Ability to work in a diverse team environment; Good interpersonal, teaming and communication skills
-Active J-STD-001 Certification

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
-Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD controlled environment
-Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices
-Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environments
-Ability to work with minimal supervision

EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 4/10 work schedule
1st Shift 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
