Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Trial Director to join our team in Silverdale, WA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Plans and conducts acquisition and analysis of at-sea acoustic evaluations

  • Must be able to lead a team to completion of analysis and reporting of at-sea results and recommendations

  • Ensures data quality in real time and uses personal judgment to determine the best path forward as evaluations objectives change

  • Prepares written, technical reports to that identify emergent issues and works with team members to present recommendations for remediation

Basic qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Engineering or Physics

  • Previous Officer of the Deck (OOD) underway or equivalent experience

  • Possess knowledge of, and be proficient in, working with US Uniformed Services ships to include a minimum of three years of hands-on, demonstrated experience with navigation and/or piloting safety

  • Possess an established, demonstrated track-record of project management and successful task completion to include coordinating U.S. Navy ship operations with a test and evaluation program agenda

  • Up to 25% travel

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active Secret security clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, and computer printer

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations

  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
