JOBSUMMARY

Provide preventivemaintenance and repairs on AMR vehicles assigned. This is a secondlevel position requires 2 years on the job experience as anautomotive or truck mechanicexperience

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS/DUTIES
• Performs mechanical andelectrical repairs as per policies and procedures.
•Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field whenrequested.
• Assists other Mechanics as needed.
•Operates company vehicles in accordance with company policy andsafe practices.
• Completes all required paperwork neatly,correctly and on time.
• Uses maintenance data base todocument all completed tasks / job assignments.
• Attendall mandatory Fleet training.
• Performs all other dutiesas requested by Shop foreman or shop lead mechanic.
•Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Adherenceto and compliance with information systems security is everyone'sresponsibility. It is the responsibility of every computer user to:Know and follow Information Systems security policies andprocedures. Attend Information Systems security training, whenoffered. Report information systems securityproblems

PrincipalAccountabilities:
• Vehicles repaired andmaintained correctly and in a timely fashion.
• Quicklyrespond, diagnose and repair vehicles during road callsituations.
• Maintain safe and clean workarea.
• Paperwork complete and neat.
• Accuratelyaccount for all parts and materials.
• Excellent customerservice skills.
• Maintain good working relationship withall personnel and professional conduct with outsidecontacts.

Non-Essential Duties andResponsibilities:
• Perform other duties asassigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Licensing/Certification: Must have a currentvalid driver's license.
• Must have a High school diploma,or equivalent education.
• 2 years verifiable LineMechanic or Mechanic Helper / Associate experience.
• 2ASE Certifications (Truck or Automotive series). Preferably Brakeand Steering / Suspension.
• MACS AC Certification orequivalent ASE Certification.
• 2 consecutive satisfactoryyearly performance appraisals.

Experience:
• Ability to prioritizemultiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as ateam member.
• Ability to employ discretion andconfidentiality in sensitive areas.
• Ability to read,interpret, and follow instructions on memos, letters, variousdocuments and repair manuals.
• Ability to perform theessential job functions.
• Regular and predictableattendance.
• Basic automotive knowledge and skillsnecessary to perform maintenance and repairs on companyvehicles.
